Hey you,
I’m writing today’s newsletter, and honestly it’s one of my favourite things to do. It’s always about connection: reaching out to you, the people who follow this wild journey. And I know you’re really out there because you show up. At concerts, at interviews. And that feeling? It’s everything. So, here’s what’s been on my mind.

I’ve slowed down on social media. Not because I’ve disappeared, but because I’ve been showing up more in real life. I do exist even if I don’t post. Actually, I especially exist when I don’t post, because it means I’m busy doing the work. For a while, I tried to be that artist, the one constantly creating content, and keeping up with the social media madness. But every time I posted, it felt… off. More disappointing than satisfying. And then I realised: I’m not an artist whose work is social media content. I’m an artist who creates, works, and lives and then shares when it actually makes sense. That shift in perspective? Game changer. I’ll definitely get back to sharing more, but these past months have been so packed that sometimes I don’t even know where to start! So let me start here.
I’ve been invited to record my voice for Tereza Sýkorová project, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a few weeks of work and it’s been intense, a discovery for me. The video will first be presented in Madeira as part of her residency Tempting to Dissolve at the Estúdio de Criação Artística do Funchal. The project explores water, memory, and self-development, with water as a symbol of both cleansing and transformation. It’s about the delicate balance between holding on and letting go reflecting on the hesitations and actions needed to release what no longer serves us. The project blends textiles, photography, film, and collective rituals to create an artistic response to these themes.

I’m honoured to contribute my voice to this work. The first exhibition is on February 27th, featuring the short film, and stunning textile sculptures created during the residency. If you’re in Madeira, you should absolutely check it out. And if not, stay tuned, I’ll share more about it soon!
I’ll be back in London March 5th–9th for another Astor residency, which means two workshops in Hyde Park and the British Museum for FREE for hotel guests and just £10 for externals (which is insane considering they’re usually £30!). [Book your spot here!]
On March 8th I’m playing and jamming at a brand-new venue in Elephant Park: EPK Social x NexGenBar. Wanna play? Message me! Wanna just come and hang? Put it in your calendar now!
And then ’ll be in Amsterdam March 10th–15th. I have something exciting coming up (more on that soon!), but in the meantime if you’re around, let’s make it happen.
Mural Projects.
I’ve just started a massive project on the island! I’ll create a huge mural for a brand-new venue in the Savoy Residencies. It’s inspired by Levantine culture (think Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, and Jordan. A rich and fascinating world I’m diving into for the first time). I’m in charge of the design, the planning, and the execution. It’s a wild mix of excitement and pressure, but knowing that my vision will come to life and be seen by so many people makes me incredibly proud. And, honestly, this project feels so right because of my synesthesia, the perception that lets me see and feel things differently. While others are still looking at a 3D rendering, I already see the mural and the design finished in my mind. Now, the challenge is making it match reality!
Beyond that, I’ve been taking my work seriously as a business: revising my portfolio, sharpening my business plan, and reaching out to experts in the field. One of the most exciting connections I’ve made is with Professor Ray Seoul from Berklee New York and Oxford University. He’s a pioneer in synesthesia performances, and we’re setting up a collaboration that will bring real prestige and credibility to what I do. I’ve also reached out to other curators, researchers, and pioneers in the field to get feedback and start new collaborations because I believe the only way forward is together. And if you are reading this and think you can help, please reach out to me!
Something special: A project with female producers
Being a woman in the music industry is tough. We all know this. I won’t go on about it, not because it’s not important (it always is), but because we’ve reached a point where the conversation is happening. And that’s something. Many men (like my agent, and maybe you reading this) are already steps ahead in supporting women in music. (Disclaimer: not everyone is like you, tho!) For a long time, I wanted to create something only with women. And finally, it’s happening. Sara De Santis is a pianist, keyboardist, producer and songwriter. She’s worked with artists like Tom Chaplin, Priya Ragu, Kindness, Sundara Karma, Tricky…the list goes on. A musical powerhouse, blending classical training with electronic sounds, and an absolute wizard on Ableton Live. And now, we’re making something together. We wanted to talk about something we both know deeply: islands—both their solitude and their connection. We’re journaling from two islands and sharing field recordings. No traditional instruments. Just the raw sound of our environments. That’s the challenge. That’s the beauty.
"An island—from the Latin insŭla—a portion of land entirely surrounded by water."
Madeira vs. the UK. One of us is surrounded by the vast Atlantic. The other is lost in the noise of the city. Our voices merge, contrasting these two worlds. The water becomes the bridge, the unspoken link between isolation and unity. That deep human longing to be part of something, even when we feel alone. We’re using hydrophones to capture the unheard submerged vibrations, and underwater textures so you can feel the sound of isolation. And visually? My brilliant friend Tereza Sýkorová will create the scenography, weaving textile roots, soundscapes, and movement to bring this invisible connection to life on stage. This is just the beginning. And I can’t wait to share more.
So tell me: will I see you in London? In Amsterdam?
Hit the links. Let’s make it happen.
