Big (Xmas) city life and artworks for sale!
Also, last minute gift for Xmas? I got you (no, it’s not soon)
Was you with me at The Bohemians show last week? It was lit!
I had the best time curating the art show and performing. I have to say I was a bit nervous too because I had many things to think about and, next time, I will be more careful into throwing myself into things. I’m an enthusiast and sometimes the feeling of doing something meaningful goes beyond the practical thinking - that I rarely have 😅
With Xmas season coming soon, I feel the big city life. All these huge and shiny decorations, the turmoil of the gifts hunting and so on, makes me happy but also a bit sad. I think we need nothing but love and care by other people, instead of expensive objects. This year, I suggest to ask your people what they really need: maybe they need help with the bills? Maybe some reparations? To be together in a beautiful place for a day? A favour they don’t know how to ask?
When someone buys from me it’s something I’m very grateful for because I’m a full time artist and I need all resources in order to thrive. I’m sure not everybody think about this! With the income I have from the performances or the paintings, I live, I pay my rent, the bills, the travels and the materials to make new things, and I also invest a lot! And when you buy something from me, you are also giving validation, appreciation, and you are telling me “I see you”.
Also, you give someone a smile buying a piece with their favourite colours or images. I’ll have a few pieces available to buy for a very small fee tomorrow at the exhibition “Borders of Hope” at the SKT Gallery in 253 Hoxton Street N1 5LG, from 6:30pm to 9pm. Come and enjoy art selected by me + 3 fantastic performers! The poster with the shortlisted artists here below and the link at the Eventbrite to RSVP here: there will be a wine tasting too 🥂
If you come please say hello! I would love to meet you 💚 B.
